St. Peter has marvelous traveling-, walking- and mountainbike round courses.
There exists also an indoor swimming pool with sunbathing area and solarium.
In winter, ski elevators and cross-country trails (also with floodlight) on the
Feldberg, Thurner, Kandel, or in Hinterzarten can be reached
comfortably by car or bus. The distance between the bus stop
and our house is less than 100 m.
Also a sledge slope exists in the immediate neighborhood of our house.
In addition, you can enjoy the evening mood of the snow-covered Black Forest
with a torch wandering or a horse sledge journey.

Day excursions
As a day trip Freiburg is suited for a town stroll, for example
you can visit the Gothic Münster or enjoy the atmosphere of
the Freiburger old part of the town.
Popular destinations are also: The Titisee, Schluchsee (Wutachschlucht) or Mummelsee,
the island Mainau (Lake of Constance), the open-air museum steward farmer
courts (Gutach), the glass blowing hut Dorotheenhütte (Wolfach),
German Uhrenstrasse in the Black Forest, the European Park (Rust), the leisure park Steinwasen
as well as ship round trips or sluice journeys
on the Rhine, e.g., to Basel, Colmar or Strasbourg.
